Testimonials

Here's what some of my clients have said...

I contacted Emma for support with my 6 year old daughter who has a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy. My daughter was struggling with handwriting and other fine motor skills in school. I found Emma to be extremely professional, knowledgable and warm in her approach. I liked her immediately, and my daughter took to her so well too. Emma used standardised tests to assess my daughters needs and came up with a treatment plan from there. She was flexible, offering different options, as well as directive in what she thought would benefit my daughter best. The improvement that my daughter has made in four months of sessions has been astounding. She gives detailed feedback after each session which is so reassuring when I am not present in the sessions. She also gives so many ideas of how to practice the skills outside the sessions, and links in with the school so there is a shared care plan. I feel in such good hands with Emma, knowing she is doing the best for my daughter, and I have seen my daughters confidence grow alongside acquiring new skills. I cannot thank her enough for her support and feel so grateful we stumbled across her website.

My son has loved his sessions with Emma and always looks forward to seeing her. She has been a joy to work with - she is so approachable and knowledgeable, and her enthusiasm and can-do attitude is contagious. We have seen huge improvements in both fine and gross motor skills - my son has become more independent in self-care and his hand writing is vastly improved. I can see that he has gained self-confidence too. I will always to grateful to Emma, and would highly recommend her!

I have seen so many improvements with Robert since Emma started working with him. His hand writing is amazing and his motor skills are improving every week. He is also more independent with his daily living as we have really focused on routine and rewards for good listening. He really enjoys the sessions and he is proud to be gaining more and more skills. He has become more emotionally stable since you started. I think just focusing on all the other skills has improved his self esteem and behaviour in general.

We are so very happy to have found Emma to help our 5 year old son who is hypermobile and struggles physically and socially. Emma’s sessions always keep him engaged and energised and he’s now feeling happier and more confident in a short space of time. I would wholeheartedly recommend her services to other parents.

I contacted Emma to support me with my 6 year old son, who has autism and was struggling with self regulation and sensory skills. Emma was very communicative via phone and email, and was able to assess him, and provide a tailored plan of targets. She has always been happy to answer all my questions face-to-face, phone, and email, and I find her easy to talk to. She is very understanding, and has worked well with my son so far, in his school. She has also helped out with other areas of his schooling by providing in depth reports. I’m very thankful for her dedication and support so far. I would definitely recommend her as an OT to anyone who needs it.
